Gitte Bald
and Anders Bang founded their business in Copenhagen in 2000
having bought the rights to the famous IQ light system designed
by Holger Strøm in 1972.
An inexpensive self assembly light made up of 30 pieces of
identical rhombic polyhedrons, the IQ light comes in various
sizes and has been a huge success for them. They followed
up in 2005 with the relaunch of Louis Weisdorf’s 1965
design of the TURBO pendant.
A simple globe shaped design of 12 identical white-sprayed
spiral shaped segments of aluminium, Turbo is another classic
of European decorative lighting.
