Product
designers Franco Bettonica and Mario Mellochi established
Cini & Nils in 1969, but it wasn't until 1972 that Bettonica
designed their first illuminated object (the Cuboluce).
The
Aureola Collection in 1982 set a new standard for a generation
of lighting design. Analysis, experimentation, and patient
prototyping is their route to innovative products whose conception,
essential form, specification, materials and finish have a
distinctive edge.
