David Weeks' lights, created in one of the few remaining warehouse buildings in DUMBO, Brooklyn, unite fluid movement with carefully considered balance.

To create his signature shades, he applies a process he calls "formal reduction" by which he takes a generic shape, such as an orb, cone or cylinder, and slices away portions until a new and sensual form emerges.
