Founded in 1932
by the architect Gio Ponti as the artistic division of the
Louis Fontana company, FontanaArte fast became a leader in
glassware for historic churches and interiors.
Through many changes and a widening use of materials, the
company has retained its special character by continuing to
associate the talents of leading architects in the design
of furniture, lamps and Objets, with glass as the primary
material.
