Established in 1981 to explore the possibilities of Murano glass, Foscarini's careful conservation of the Murano heritage is married to a restless search for new talent and forms of expression.

The range of materials has expanded to include satin-finished glass, polyethylene, wood, aluminium and patented materials like textured glass tissue and Kevlar R. Modern icons are being created by the minute by designers like Karim Rashid, Mark Sadler, Defne Koz, Patricia Urquiola, Tom Dixon and many more.
