GIO was founded in 1987 by its designer Georg Eisenhut, then fresh out of college. Deeply committed to the Bauhaus aesthetic, GIO produces elegant halogen lights in pure, simple forms with as little mass as possible.

The Golden Gate suspension lamp in aluminium is an extendable, much-loved solution for lighting extending tables across Europe - where GIO is available in 400 outlets.

GIO’s range of marble and quartzite wall lights and pendants glow with an elemental simplicity. Other pendants are inspired by ships and water, which like light, is all about flow.
