Kundalini was founded in 1996 by the designer Gregorio Spini whose life-long interest in Tantric mysticism is reflected in the company name and philosophy. His business partner Stefano Bordone is a management specialist with a BA from Bocconi University.

Kundalini's exquisite lamps are based on the intuition that light illuminates objects around us, our inner selves and our perception of the world.

Technological research, materials, colours, shapes and the designers who work with Kundalini are all chosen according to this principle. Kundalini also make beautiful and functional furniture.
