Nora de Rudder is a Belgian
artist who trained as an architect and has applied her originality
and skills to several fields: furniture design, interior design,
mobiles and since 1997, lighting.
De Rudder makes chandeliers, table lamps and other types of
lighting in an unusual idiom of contemporary romanticism,
laced with a hint of gothic. Her chandeliers made with mussel
shells and fragments of glass are creating a stir in design
circles.
