Sylvie Janvier and Eric de Dormael set out in 1998 to create poetic lamps, using mainly natural materials like brass and wood to dress the light, creating a soft and intimate atmosphere.

Many of their lamps have a timeless, almost pre-historic quality, and they have now ventured into the use of LEDs, with which they create gentle cascades of contemporary colour.
