Founded in 1980 by the designer Walter Schnepel, Tecnolumen started out producing only one lamp - the iconic Bauhaus table lamp designed in 1924 by Wilhelm Wagenfeld.

Additional designs from the Bauhaus group soon followed, and the company took on 10 contemporary designers to produce a range of contemporary furniture, accessories and door handles. Tecnolumen's quality is exceptional and their lamps are pieces of beauty.
