A mere 250 hours of work by the very finest craftsmen results in one of the fabulous new designs of Maria-Theresia chandelier recently launched by the venerable Viennese maker, Wieshofer.

They are dessed in leasd crystal forms derived from nature -- flowers and leaves, stars and icicles. By attaching Venetian glass strips along the metal arms, the effect is of pure glass. The metal used does nevertheless add subtly to the effect of the piece, especially when the choice of metal finishes includes 24 carat gold, white gold, platinum, palladium and graphite (matt black).

For those who can appreciate -- and can afford -- the very best.
