Chelsom: new catalogue and web site

Chelsom Artichoke pendant light This fascinating pendant light is Artichoke, from Chelsom's new catalogue #23, the release of which coincided with the introduction of a new Chelsom web site.

This one is as helpful as the previous iteration was not! It is simply and straightforwardly laid out, you can find lights that will suit from the tables of thumbnails, and when you go to a specific design, you can see the data you need and a downloadable image is just a click away. Here is the entry for the Artichoke applique:

They showed the collection at a party held at Number One Marylebone -- a really irritating name that conceals Soane's magnificent Greek revival Holy Trinity, Marylebone,  now deconsecrated.

Terzani on trend with Iceberg -- and a new web site

terzani-luce-pensata-78592-2012052811113228-iceberg_s No company is exploiting more assiduously than Terzani the ( no doubt, recession-driven) trend  towards chandeliers made from anything but glass. They started with Atlantis, of course:

and then followed with Stream and Soscik (sounds like "so chic"), all made from fine metal chain.

Now Dodo Arslan has created Iceberg, using plexiglass rods -- over 3,600 of them:

It is Ø74cm H115cm.

We welcome this super light, and we welcome Terzani's new web site. The quickest way to see the lights that they do, and then to get images and info, is to click on any of the four quadrants (Precious, Design, Memory, New) and then click on the typology you want (Wall, Ceiling, Suspension, Floor) or All. Choose a light and then, besides images and a description, you can download a data sheet ("Product Catalogue") .

There are no downloadable 3D files, and passwords that worked on the old site do not work on the new one so, until they put this right, there are no downloadable installation instructions.
